About LikeJunco
Independent guides and tools for foreign buyers who want to finance a home in Italy.
What we do
LikeJunco publishes practical information for people buying a home in Italy from abroad: how Italian banks assess non-residents, what deposit you need, what the purchase really costs and what each step of the process involves.
Our calculator and guides let you prepare on your own, so you can speak to banks, brokers and notaries with clear numbers. We don't ask for your financial documents, and we don't sell your details to anyone.
LikeJunco provides general information, not financial or legal advice, and is not a credit broker. Always confirm your situation with a regulated professional.
Why the name
Our name comes from the junco, a small bird that migrates with the seasons to find better living conditions. We help people do the same, and Italy is one of the best places to do it.
Juncos follow well-established routes, much like the step-by-step process of buying a home in Italy. They also face obstacles along the way, as foreign buyers face language barriers and unfamiliar rules. With good information, both journeys get easier.
